Dinky Toys 40b 151 Triumph 1800 Saloon
Triumph 1800 Saloon model from Dinky 40B 151. Rare deep French Blue issue with fawn wheels. Very, very near mint/boxed (dual-numbered).
Notes
This Triumph 1800 Saloon model marks the transition from the older numbering of 40B to the new numbering 151 in 1954. This is a rare version in deep French Blue with fawn ridged wheels, early style baseplate with small lettering.
A rich lustre to the all original, virtually mint paint finish. Base is shiny. Smooth tyres are well-shaped.
The dual-numbered box is brightly-coloured and complete with quite a crisp feel to the card. Correct colour spot. Light age/handling wear, includes a few small stain dots.
