This Dinky Trade Ox has the following early issue Bedford End Tippers;
1) Scarlet & cream issue with red cast wheels, no windows (early feature) , black radiator and headlight assembly (early), black bumper & a gloss base (early). Early simpler style rectangular petrol tank (without top shaped section as would be introduced later in the production run). Well-shaped smooth black tyres.
Few small marks and close inspection finds a few little retouches to a wheel arch. Near mint plus grade.
2) Deep yellow and mid-blue early version with lighter yellow cast wheels. No windows (early feature), black radiator and headlight assembly (early), black bumper & a gloss base (early). Early simpler style rectangular petrol tank (without top shaped section as would be introduced later in the production run). Well-shaped smooth black tyres. Several little marks to the paint at some exposed egs/vulnerable points.
Early issue buff Trade Box presents well and inside two of the original card dividers still remain.
A very nearly complete bright and fresh-looking yellow end label has a small scuff. Top surface light storage scuff to the lid too. Untarnished staples and no repairs. Light pencilled writing on an short lid end.
