Corgi Toys 268 The Green Hornet's Black Beauty
The Green Hornet's 'Black Beauty' by Corgi Toys, No. 268. With working functions! Very near mint/boxed, with Secret Instruction Packet, Instructions, rockets & spinners. With (Incomplete) ORIGINAL GREASEPROOF packing piece. Spun wheels issue. From The Marc Mulvale Collection.
Notes
An exciting iconic T.V inspired Corgi model – issued between 1968-72. In very close to mint, all original condition. Shaped spun wheel issue. Delicate roof logo is intact.
Radiator closes securely notably.
Occasional little mark to the paint finish (visible if you hunt for them). Lacks suspension on one wheel but still ‘sits’ well.
The very attractive inner card stand has lots of atmospheric graphics. It is crisp, bright and clean. Virtually pristine!
Reverse:
The outer box is complete and colourfully illustrated. Crisp. Lightest age/handling wear.
With Secret Instruction Packet. Inside are four rockets, four spinners and the Instructions.
Nice to see that a good portion of the nearly always discarded greaseproof strip which protects the roof of the model, is still present. Card packing too!
