Dinky Toys 131 Cadillac Tourer
Cadillac Tourer by Dinky Toys, No. 131. Pink-cream version. Very near mint/boxed. Very scarce issue with GOLD-HUED SPUN WHEELS. A First for QDT! Starting bid £200. Please note that QDT apply 12.5% buyer's commission.
Notes
Issued between 1956-61, this version has a distinctive pink-cream finish, pale grey interior. The first we have ever offered for sale with gold-hued spun wheels!
Late issue with spun wheels and so correct with treaded tyres, plastic steering wheel and the late (lighter yellow) picture box. Complete with detailed driver and original windscreen. Barely a mark on this example:
Colour shade is ever so slightly deeper in places if studied critically.
Colourful and fresh lighter yellow picture box has the correct colour spot. Small part-puncture and a tiny handling tear. Very minor wear besides.
