Notes
A scarce and early Gift Set from Dinky with great nostalgic British appeal! A rare find.
It comprises:
1) Dinky 42A Police Box has a wonderfully glossy deep blue finish with silver details. A delight- in very near mint condition with no fatigue or crazing.
2) Dinky 42B Motorcycle Patrol in honest, original condition with a few chips to the paint finish. Clean, undamaged, original, white, solid rubber wheels. Nearly always split, or at best very grubby, these are a welcome sight! Some fatigue to the model but stable now and as long as it is handled rarely and carefully, there should be no further deterioration.
3) Dinky 42C Point Duty Policeman in a white coat. Virtually mint condition.
4) Dinky 42D Point Duty Policeman in a blue uniform. Another glossy, virtually mint model.
*Inner carded tray is fresh, bright and clean with no loss of colour vibrancy. A wonderful London scene backdrop for these items.
Remarkably, minimal wear, even at the slots. Attractive mid-blue lift-off lid box has strong colours on clean, well-preserved card with no tears, splits or repairs. A little light staining in places.
