Dinky Toys Gift Set 5 Military Vehicles Set

Circa 1948, this is clearly an unused, barely handled U.S. issue Gift Set that has been stored away for decades.

This rare and precious find comprises:

a) Dinky 151A Medium Tank

b) Dinky 151B Transport Wagon

c) Dinky 152B Reconnaissance Car

d) Dinky 153A U.S. Army Jeep

e) Dinky 161B Mobile A.A. Gun

Each model is finished in original military green with matching ridged wheels and finely treaded tyres with the exception of the Medium Tank of course which has metal tracks.

All models are in virtually mint – mint condition.

The vivid green insert is glossy with lightly patterned detail. Cut-outs into which each model may be slotted. No tearing.
Sturdy box base has the identical finish and shows a little green card loss on the underside. Small period price label on the underside.
Rare to find with the plain buff card top packing piece which further secures each model in place with cut-outs for the protruding sections.

Delightfully patterned box lid is complete and in authentic state with no repairs. Colours and freshness belies its age! Complete and strongly-coloured paper label features the ‘Dinky Toys boy’ alongside Dinky toy models. With U.S Hudson Dobson export label.
