Dinky Toys 142 Jaguar Mark X
Jaguar Mark X by Dinky Toys, No. 142. Assumed mint (never removed from box)/boxed (export). Scarce. Light metallic blue issue. From The Reference Collection.
Notes
A more difficult find in the export box.
Finished in sleek, metallic light blue, this Jaguar Mark X is an attractive example, and we would expect to find original luggage stowed in the boot. Suspension on shining shaped spun hubs, red interior. Still fastened to the bright yellow card inner by means of the two original stiff plastic tabs.
A difficult find in the card and cellophane outer box (made for export). Notoriously fragile boxes, largely made of cellophane, they are regularly found in poor condition. This example has fared better than many! Fresh, bright and complete with intact original cellophane. Couple of card tears. One end of the box is still taped shut.
Issued 1962-68.
