Corgi 474
Corgi 474 Musical Wall's Ice Cream Van. Near mint plus/boxed. With chimes. Card stand, sticker sheet (most applied to model), Instructions, wrap-around card & packing ring. From The Oslo Collection.
Notes
One of the most eagerly sought-after Corgi models!
The Ford Thames Van has a shining blue and cream finish with colourful awning and decorative trimmings, sliding windows and when you turn the handle the chimes play a tune (3 of the 5 notes only). Bright plated fittings and complete ’Wall’s’ transfers on both sides.
Note the windows are rather ‘misted’ now (common fault). Little casting mark on the roof. Original labels have mostly been applied to the model, remainder still on sheet. Instructions are still present.
Barely a mark to the paint finish.
Nice to see that this example comes with the crisp and bright colourful card stand, the wrap-around card packing piece and packing ring too. Each penned with the Corgi number.
The decorative card box is clean, complete and bright. Crisp feel.Light handling wear only. Little initial on an end flap.
A truly nostalgic piece!
