This James Bond Moon Buggy inspired by the film ‘Diamonds Are Forever’ is in very close to mint, unused condition with a complete paper label at the front of the model. The ‘arms’ are bright and untarnished and keep their position well (they do not flop at the sides!) and
the red scanner revolves slowly as the Buggy moves along.
The roof opening mechanism which causes the figure of James Bond to pop up when the hatch flips open works well, too.
Just a few minor marks to the paint finish and a few very faint yellow marks in one small area ( due to prolonged contact with the inner, we believe).
The fragile window box is especially difficult to find with original cellophane. This example has wrinkled but intact original cellophane. The card is complete and strongly-coloured, although note the handling wear ( edge ruffling etc. at end flaps). Attractive inner backdrop (moon scene) is intact.
A fine and desirable James Bond item made between 1972-74.
