C468
Corgi 468 Routemaster Bus, in New South Wales livery. Near mint plus/boxed. Extremely scarce version from The Monty Calme Collection.
Notes
A rare find, and usually missing from most collections, this is a Routemaster Bus in the New South Wales livery with ‘Corgi Classics’ transfers on one side, ‘Naturally Corgi Toys’ on the other, bright shaped spun wheels and jewelled headlights. Correct, distinctive and original finish of brown, cream and green. Looks barely handled with a shining unrubbed finish! Complete with driver, conductor, post, detailed cream interior, bright yellow staircase, window glazing.
One small scratch on the roof, and the occasional small mark besides. A couple of small dots on the ‘Corgi Classics’ transfer (may be possible to carefully clean off), the ‘Naturally Corgi ’transfer is absolutely fine.
The crisp and clean card pictorial box has strong colours and minimal handling wear.
Shopkeeper’s pencilled price on one box face. Small corner crumple (minor). Corgi Club Membership Form is folded inside the box.
