C447
Corgi 447 Wall's Ice Cream Van. Very near mint/boxed, with both figures, unapplied decorative labels and Instruction Leaflet. Original packing card. From a high quality collection in the U.S.
Notes
Issued between 1965-67, this sought-after Corgi Ford Thames Ice Cream Van has a shining, original blue and cream finish with complete detailed labels. Suspension on shaped spun wheels. Fine original tyres. Grey base.
In impressive unused condition complete with a full sheet of unapplied additional decorative labels.
A virtually perfect example!
Note the two little stray pieces of fluff (or similar) which have attached themselves to the inside surface of the windscreen. Otherwise, the windows are clear and mist-free. Gives the impression of unsold old shop stock, with a virtually mint paint finish (one tiny mark).
Included is the pictorial card plinth which is clean and strongly-coloured, with both figures of the* ice cream seller and boy* present. No tears or wear.
The pictorial card box presents very well – colourful, clean and fresh-looking with all end flaps intact.
Lovely, barely handled, silky feel to the card. Minor handling/age wear, including a faint storage corner crumple. Couple of light surface rubs at an end flap.
Original packing card piece is still present along with a crisp, fresh and clean Instruction leaflet for the application of the decorative transfers.
Very nice indeed!
