Mattel No. 6150 Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Mint/boxed with sealed original packets containing all accessories. One of the best surviving examples you will ever find. Rare item from a beautiful, single-owner collection, some 25 years in the making.

We are delighted to offer for sale, this wonderful, unused nostalgic item from the Mattel Company. Rare to come to the market place, this is a spectacular example, complete with all delicate parts intact (Chitty measures 13cm. approx. in length) .
Totally unused with sealed original clear plastic packet containing the raft, spare wheel and windscreen. Another still-sealed packet contains the four characters. This packet is still affixed to the sturdy original card packing piece. Remains of the original elastic bands which secured the model in place.
A hard to model to find – we have not seen a better example.
The most attractively illustrated card box is complete and bright – wonderful illustrations are a delight! Minor age ‘foxing’/grubbiness. Opened at one end only. Remains of a period price label at one end. No graffiti.
