FD24Y
French Dinky 24Y Studebaker Commander. Very near mint/boxed. 1st issue, correct without towing eye on base. From a beautiful single-owner collection, some 25 years in the making.
Notes
1st issue (1955-57) in deep orange-red finish with a dark cream roof, and plated convex hubs. Bright baseplate (minor spidering), correct with no towing eye, found only in later issues. Smooth original tyres run well. This impressive car presents nicely with a gleaming and distinctive paint finish:
Very minor tarnishing to the wheels. Occasional negligible mark to the paint finish.
The picture box is complete, clean and bright. Note the little puncture to one of the small end flaps and a faint puncture to the large end flap too caused by movement of the car within the box.
The most minor age wear besides and no graffiti!
