Notes
This collector wanted only the best examples in his collection ? always a discerning buyer of the finest examples he could find. After over 25 years, he has now decided to part with items from his own extensive collection.
This is one of them.
Issued between 1958-62, this early issue model has a distinctive salmon pink and blue paint finish, cream hubs. In original condition, this Nash Rambler presents well with a few mere dots to the paint finish. Note the tiny ‘bubble’ in the windscreen (as-made).
Shiny base (minor ‘spidering’) and the original treaded tyres with ‘M’ for Meccano embossed, run well.
The correctly-spotted pictorial card box is bright, clean, fresh and complete. Crisp feel. Plenty of end flap spring. Pencilled date (1957) at an end flap and the printed word ‘NASH’ has a pencil line through it. Period price is stamped at another.
