C308
Corgi 308 Monte Carlo Mini Cooper. Very near mint/boxed. From The Renos Louka Collection.
Notes
A collection some 20 years in the making. Renos Louka from Virginia Water, Surrey specialised in Film & TV models. His interest was due to his occupation of supplying camera and lighting equipment to the film, TV and broadcast industry.
This model was issued between 1972-76 and is in superb condition – a very bright yellow finish with perfect labels on bonnet, boot and doors (save for one tiny nick to the bonnet label). Sparkling jewelled headlights and two spare wheels on the bright, unrubbed chrome roof-rack.
Little factory assembly mark above a headlight.
The early red and yellow window-box is intact and complete with intact origional cellophane. Really crisp and the end flaps are resistant to opening (rarely prised open). Minor age grubbiness. Intact white card inner. No tears or graffiti.
A desirable and ever-popular Corgi item!
