This collector wanted only the best examples in his collection ? always a discerning buyer of the finest examples he could find. After over 25 years, he has now decided to part with items from his own extensive collection.
This is one of them.

Dinky 108 was issued briefly as an U.S. export model in both red and cream.
This cream version is in near mint condition, with attractive, lustrous dark plum-red seats, lighter red ridged wheels, intact original windscreen, correct without driver or racing numbers.

Bright baseplate and smooth. well-shaped original tyres.
Correct that the number 108 is printed on the base, since a special baseplate for the U.S. issue was never made.
Little chip on the driver’s door and a little light glue residue at the rear number plate area (barely visible). Obviously, number plates were added at some time and then removed at a later date. Tiny dot besides.
The pictorial box has strong colours on clean fresh-looking card. Lacks one small end flap. Correct colour spot. No repairs or punctures. Tiny tear at an end flap seam. Very minor wear only. Note the stamped period price (85) at an end flap.
