FD1406
French Dinky 1406 Renault 4L Sinpar 'Michel Tanguy'. Very near mint (but lacks aerial)/boxed. Scarce. With both original figures. From the t.v. series 'Les Chevaliers Du Ciel'.
Notes
Issued between 1968-71, this t.v. inspired Dinky model is in unused condition and includes both original figures.
The Renault Sinpar model is finished in khaki with blue, red and white original detailing. Includes both steering wheel and gear stick*. Painted metal concave wheels, folding tin windscreen.
Couple of negligible marks only. Note this example lacks the little detachable aerial and transfers for the bonnet-mounted camera.
Both plastic running figures are (correctly) glued to the base of the colourful plinth. Plinth is in very fine condition. A tiny tear to a couple of the wheel slots. None of the usual areas of surface loss, thankfully (since often the figures are removed and then re-glued) . Both end tabs to the plinth are present and this set presents nicely with the colourful backdrop.
The decorative pictorial card outer box is clean and very bright with all end flaps present (couple of minor tears). No graffiti.
Delightful French Dinky toy feauring The Knights of the Sky’ (Les Chevalier du Ciel)!
