Issued between 1961-62, this early version has a bright mid red and black finish, yellow interior, ‘Birmingham – London Motorway Express’ paper labels and shining flat spun wheels.
With a couple of little marks head-on and minor age wear to the paper labels at the sides. Complete with no creases or tears. Complete destination board label above the cab. Complete ‘Midland Red’ logos on one side, small nick to the other.
The early lift-off lid box is intact with no splits. Bright colours. A few little edge rubs. No graffiti.
