Notes
Issued 1946-52, this early Dinky Gift Set contains:
1) Streamlined Locomotive in deep blue and black with black ridge wheels and ‘LNER’ cast at the sides. Original tyres run well. Few little damp spots on one side, barely a mark otherwise.
2) 2 Coaches in tan, grey and black with original silver detaining for the windows. Black ridged wheels. All tyres run well. Occasioanl little mark only. Very nice!
The early buff box is very nice indeed . Clean sturdy unrubbed card with a complete paper label at the box lid end . Barely any wear at all save for a little thumb tear at one of the cut-out sections of the lid sides.
