Notes
All Corgi Gift Sets are sought-after, and this one is certainly no exception, especially this early version with the dark green Land-Rover.
Issued between 1967-72, this set was produced at the start of the production run. It is complete with all models and accessories ? which appear to have been taken out of the box rarely.
It comprises:
1) Corgi 484 Livestock Transporter in beige and green. EXcellent plus condition with some marking to the paint finish mostly at the rear.
2) Corgi 438 Land Rover in dark green with spun wheels with suspension and a metal tow hook. Very, very near mint condition .
3) Corgi 69 Massey Ferguson Tractor & Shovel in dark red with a silver shovel, driver. In near mint condition with just a few little marks. Complete transfers too.
4) Corgi 62 Tipper Trailer in red and yellow, complete with raves. Near mint.
5) Corgi 71 Fordson Disc Harrow. Very near mint.
Also the accessories i.e. Corgi 1490 Skip & Three Churns, Farmer & dog.
Four calves on a little card ?hay? base.
Three pigs & two piglets on a little card ?hay? base. Brown sacks still wrapped..
Outstanding condition!
The polystyrene tray is very clean and fresh. Minor edge nibbles.
The outer card box has bright fresh card and the original cellophane window has a little puncture. Couple of edge tears to the card, a crumple and a little grubbiness. Period pencilled price.
Comes complete with a very nice Instruction Leaflet (rare to find with this leaflet still present!):
