An extremely rare item purchased by the owner from the auction held by the Corgi Company in 2006. A strictly limited edition model issued by Corgi to commemorate 50 years of model making ? only 50 of these exceptional gold-plated Sherman Tank models were made world wide. Rare to come to the market-place and missing from even the most comprehensive collections.
This gold-plated Sherman Tank, in 1:50 scale is in stunning mint condition with the authentic numbered certificate (no. 45), this is an exceptionally scarce item indeed made during 2006.
Includes distinctive sturdy outer box, packing, gold cloth insert, cream plinth and leaflets.
