C261
Corgi 261 James Bond's Aston Martin D.B.5. Near mint plus/boxed. Complete with all original accessories and additional colour leaflet found with the earliest models off the production line From The London Collection.
Notes
We are especially delighted to offer one of the most popular Corgi models ever, issued between 1965-69.
The James Bond Aston Martin is in all original condition with none of the reproduction accessories, rife with this issue.
The car is fully functioning, complete with Bond and villain. Deep lustrous gold finish and thankfully, this model does not have the almost obligatory chip on the roof. Suspension is notably fine on all four wheels.
A few very minor marks (that you have to look for!) on one side.
The plinth on which the model sits is bright and complete, with vivid colours. Crisp – and no tears at the wheel slots! Indeed, each wheel slot still has the little push-out tab in situ.
The Instruction Packet has been carefully opened and inside there are the all-important Secret Instructions which detail the retractable machine guns, opening roof and ejector seat, rear bullet screen and telescopic over-riders.
All have been tested and work perfectly! The packet also contains the unapplied 007 badge, and the spare villain.
This is an early issue, so it includes the colour promotional leaflet, too.
The outer box is strongly-coloured with barely any wear at all! U.S dollar price label at an end flap.
Very nice !
