D173
Dinky 173 Nash Rambler. Very, very near mint/boxed. Spun wheel issue. Scarce. Crisp non-picture box with packing piece! From a single owner from new collection in Buckinghamshire.
Notes
This Rambler model has a gleaming turquoise finish with red side flashes and of course, this is the scarce version with spun wheels. Gleaming white original white treaded tyres with ‘M’ for ‘Meccano’ stamped. Shiny baseplate.
Upon closest inspection, you will see an occasional stray dot of factory silver – hard to find any marks at all!
The red and yellow box is very crisp, clean and vividly-coloured. Close to perfect in fact with a blue colour spot at the end flaps. Comes complete with the little clear plastic packing piece which fits over the roof of the model in the box. Period penned pricing ( and re-pricing) at an end flap.
