Many items from this collection were bought new during the 1960?s, after enquiring in toyshops for old, unsold shop stock.
This superb Studebaker model has a distinctive shade of light blue with royal blue tail fins, fawn wheels, clean white knobbly tyres. Original silver detailing picks out the bodylines beautifully.
A lovely quality piece.
Bright baseplate and the original tyres have ‘M’ for Meccano stamped.
Note that there is a little casting hole at the rear, just above the bumper and a little raised casting dot on the roof.
The correctly-spotted pictorial box is complete, crisp and clean with day-one bright colours. Small tear at an end flap hinge. Period price at an end flap.
