Notes

A most popular and sought-after Gift Set from Corgi, this scarce version was issued during 1965.
It comprises:

1) Ecurie Ecosse Transporter has a pleasing light metallic blue finish, shaped spun wheels, red interior and a light grey base. Suspension. Sliding side doors, window glazing and a drop down ramp at the rear. Red lettering at the sides. Able to ?transport? the three racing cars included with this set!
Condition: near mint plus with a few little marks low down on the drop down ramp. Red lettering is bright with none of the usual rubbing. Little rub mark where the door at the side slides open.
Hard to fault otherwise. Looks unused with a fine sheen.

Complete with the Instruction Leaflet too.

2) 150s Vanwall Formaula 1 Grand Prix Car is in outstanding virtually mint condition (couple of probably as-made micro dots) . Driver. Suspension. Wheel sticker sheet has two remaining wheel stickers. Pristine box!

3) 152S BRM Formula 1 Grand Prix Car is in very near mint condition, complete with driver and intact bright labels. Suspension. Few little marks low down at the rear of the car. driver, flat spun wheels with suspension. Outstanding, crisp, fresh bright box.

4) 154 Ferrari Formula 1 Car Very near mint condition with just two little marks. Driver. Suspension. Bright chrome.
Pristine box!

Important to note that this is not a later made-up set, since these items were all available individually at the time. Obviously this was an unused or unwanted item which has remained in this close to pristine state for some forty six years.

Lift-off Lid Box has bright colours on intact card, with no graffiti.

Some rubbing at the top of the lid on one side and some light storage/handling grubbiness in places. A little rubbing at corners. Box inner has bright clean card with no tears and all packing is present.

A wonderful display piece.
