D260
Dinky 260 Royal Mail Van. Very, very near mint/boxed. From a lifetime's collection in The Heart of England.
Notes
A classic Dinky model from the range of smaller vans issued between 1955-61. This Morris ‘J’ van has a lustrous bright red finish with a matte black roof, complete detailed ‘Royal Mail’ transfers on both sides.
Superb quality from this collector:
Looks completely unused. Downgraded from absolutely mint, since there are a couple of flat spots on the rear tyres (indication that this model has been in one position for a long time).
The box is brightly-coloured and crisp. No graffiti. Tiny seam tear and occasional grubby mark.
