Notes
We are very pleased to offer for sale the first Corgi model issued in 1956 – in cream without the motorised flywheel. Straight from a lifelong Dinky & Corgi enthusiast’s collection, this model is in fresh, original condition in cream with flat spun hubs and a bright baseplate. Simple clean lines and a shining cream finish on this first Corgi model (with windows, of course):
Just the occasional little (box) rub at the sides. Roof is thankfully unmarked, the model still retains a fine sheen.
This model comes complete with its early blue picture box, complete if rater worn at edges now with a little edge tear. No graffiti. Comes with the concertina-style Corgi promotional booklet and correct early ‘Moorgate’ Club Membership Form.
