N405
Nicky (Dinky) 405 Army Jeep. Very near mint/boxed, with factory packing). Scarce. From The Berkshire Collection.
Notes
Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison. This example was made during 1970.
Model is in close to perfect condition with a pleasing lustre, intact bonnet decal and straight aerial. Of course, the finish is not to Dinky standard, but still this is a most interesting and scarce item!
Plastic one-piece wheels.
Complete US Army label head-on.
One chip to the top of one of the seats.
The pictorial card box is complete with no tears or graffiti. Inside, you will find the 3 cut -up pieces of another Nicky Toys box which was used as packing for this model!
