Notes
First issued during 1968, this model is finished in a lustrous metallic maroon finish with perfect ‘MINI MARCOS’ transfers at both sides. A virtually mint model with opening doors and bonnet, sliding seats, steering wheel and of course, Golden Jacks ‘Take Off Wheels’. A very nice example indeed, with original Corgi A.A. and RAC labels added. These were available from Corgi at the time, and can be removed if desired (but they do look good!).
The cellophane-fronted window box is very bright and fresh, with only the most minor wear. Original cellophane has a couple of the tiniest punctures (barely noticeable) and there is not even a suggestion of a crease at the reverse of the header card!
