Notes

A desirable 3-piece Gift Set made between 1964-68 comprising:
i) 418 Taxi in black with fluorescent orange original details , lemon interior and driver. Shaped spun wheels (scarce issue, more often found with flat spun wheels). Very near mint with a few marks at bumpers.

ii) 468 London Routemaster Bus ’Naturally Corgi Toys". Flat spun wheels. All original vivid red finish with complete transfers on both sides. Wear to the rear paper label Peppering of little marks head-on where it has come into contact with the Taxi in the box.

Policeman figure (directing the traffic) on a white circular plinth.

Delightful card plinth on which all items sit with an unmistakable London scene depicted. Complete and intact, minor edge ruffle. Very nice!

Outer card box has another colourfully illustrated London scene in which both models and policeman are depicted. Vibrant colours.

A little age wear/grubbiness including a couple of small seam tears and a shopkeeper’s price has been inked over on an end flap.
