D514
Dinky 514 Guy Van "SLUMBERLAND". Near mint plus/boxed. Another scarce Dinky Advertising Van from the Italian collection.
Notes
Issued between 1950-52, this model has a deep red lustrous paint finish with complete detailed transfers on both sides and above the cab roof. Stunning on display with not even a trace of sunfading!
Closest examination reveals a few discreet touch-ins on the raised roof sill of the box van and a dot or two besides. Hard to find a mark otherwise!
The early powder blue box is complete with an intact paper label. Grubby marking to the lid. Note that the box base is a much deeper blue colour (shelf wear to the underside). No graffiti.
