C1130
Corgi 1130 Circus Horse Transporter with Horses. Near mint/boxed. With six horses and packing piece. Mix of spun and cast wheels - all original, and a scarce find. From the Italian collection.
Notes
Issued between 1962-70, this item is part of the much-loved Chipperfields range of models. The Bedford TK tractor unit with trailer has a vivid glowing red finish, brightest shaped spun wheels and two cast wheels, fresh and day-one bright paper labels throughout and a vivid blue back (often they appear a lot paler than this!).
Occasional little mark mostly at the wheel arches as well as the usual little marks at the opening doors where metal meets metal (practically unavoidable!). Notably, both of the wing mirrors are present and complete with the little ‘reflective’ pieces. The item comes with the full complement of six grey horses.
The card plinth is complete with both pull out end tabs in place. Some red marking and a little wear to the wheel slots caused by the weight of the model. Slight sunfading to one side of the plinth too.
Nice to see that this item still has its large white card packing piece – so often discarded!
The outer box is complete, clean and generally brightly coloured (one side is a touch sunfaded). Crisp card. Minor handling wear including a little ruffling at end flap, a crease and a very tiny start of a tear at an end flap edge.
