Issued between 1958-68, this fine Gift Set was a late issue, having a light brown and cream finish and a plastic tilt on the Land-Rover. Shaped spun wheels with suspension. Bright red detailed interior. The Land-Rover is in virtually mint condition with one negligible dot only.

The Horse Trailer in matching finish has a couple of little marks on the wheel arches and a little rub to the raised detail on one side. Corgi period accessories labels have been applied and these can be easily removed or left on since they do look good!
Lovely original lustre on both pieces.
Nice to see this set complete with the original brown plastic pony, and the nearly always missing card wrap-around piece.
Little informative slip from Corgi (nearly always missing!) is included too.

The card plinth on which the models sit, is complete although grubby now with wear and tear at some of the wheels slots.
The outer card pictorial end flap box is bright and complete, with a sturdy feel to the card. Little repaired tear to an end flap seam amd some wear at end flaps besides. Few little creases, grubby marks. Small neat penned numbering on one non-picture side has been scribbled out. Penned numbering at an end flap. Little puncture at a small end flap has pressed back into place.
