D432
Dinky 432 Guy Warrior Flat Truck. Near mint plus/boxed. Window glazing version. From the Italian collection.
Notes
A very pleasing example of this version issued between 1960-64, which is becoming increasingly difficult to find. This particular example has a light green cab and chassis and bright crimson red flatbed. Later issue with window glazing.
Close scrutiny reveals a couple of miniscule little marks on the roof, one small mark head-on, and an ‘oily’ mark at the headboard which may be possible to remove. Little mark at a wheel arch rim. An additional dab of red paint at the rear exposed edges.
Lovely vivid lustre ensures that this model displays well.
The yellow picture box is complete, brightly coloured, generally clean. Resistant end flaps show minimal handling. Shopkeeper’s period pencilled price at an end flap and faint additional printed text (impossible to decipher) on one non-picture surface. Easily overlooked scuff at one side. Minor handling wear only, including shelf grubbiness on the underside.
