Corgi 262 Lincoln Continental Executive Limousine. Very, very near mint/slight box wear. *Scarce blue and fawn version with working illuminated battery-operated t.v. screen*! Complete picture strip & model specific leaflet/Corgi Club Membership Form. Stunning item from the Italian collection!
Notes
Issued between 1967-69, this prestigious American car comes in the more unusual finish – pale blue with a fawn roof. Opening boot bonnet and doors. Lots of nice details on this car which even has plush deep blue carpet! In unused superb condition:
Paint finish is chip-free, although there is a little discolouration on the driver’s door (picked up through contact with the box inner) which may be possible to carefully clean away. Underneath, the car has a battery casement so that the onboard t.v. set can be used! It comes with the complete strip of little picture cards for the t.v set! Battery has been tested and the light for illuminating the T.V. screen works!
Suspension is fine on all four wheels.
Note the shiny unrubbed plating, although curiously, there is a strip missing at the front bumper top surface whereas the rest is perfectly intact. We believe as-made.
The car sits on a pristine card plinth. All of the push-out tabs at the wheel slots are present, too.
The delicate blister style outer box is complete and intact with none of the expected tearing at the point where it joins the blister. Blister is intact too. Pull out tab at header card top still present. Minor handling wear including slight fading to the colours. Neatly penned date on the box base. A little front edge ruffling.
