D197
Dinky 197 Morris Mini-Traveller. Very near mint/boxed. Ivory with a lemon interior. Rare version.
Notes
Issued in 1961, this fine Mini has a shining ivory finish with a lemon interior and light brown ‘woodwork’ detailing at the sides. A hard variation to find. Suspension on bright spun wheels. Fingertip steering feature.
Just a few litle marks visible on the roof toward the front and on the bonnet (this delicate ivory finish is a most most unforgiving colour, these marks are so small that they would be probably undetectable on a more forgiving colour).
The lighter yellow pictorial box with features panel is really very fresh indeed; bright vivid colours on rarely handled card. Shopkeeper’s pricing at the end flaps.
