Notes
This is a sought-after issue of the classic Fire Engine model with brown ladders, grey tyres. Uusal issue has silver ladders. In all original condition, this Commer Fire Engine has a bright red finish (no sunfading!) and both shining bells on the roof. Looks like unsold shop stock, with barely a mark to the paint finish.
Occasional little mark may be found and this is more than likely due to the slight rough casting in places.
The early blue box with a picture label is a delight! How often are these early boxes found in this close to pristine condition? Such vivid colours on clean and fresh undamaged card. Exceptional condition. Complete with the usually missing card packing piece too.
A high quality investment piece to enjoy.
