Notes
Issued during 1963, this late issue has an original and lustrous, bright red paint finish with red plastic hubs, knobbly tyres, a Leyland grille and complete ‘Exide Batteries’ labels at the sides. Complete ‘73’ on destination boards at front and rear.
Notably, this bus has lost none of its colour vibrancy, This scarce and sought-after model displays exceptionally well.
The later issue pictorial card box is complete,with a crisp feel to the card. There are a couple of storage grubby marks and creases. Tiny thumb tear at an end flap edge.
Not an easy variation to find.
