Notes
Issued between 1952-53, this splendid second type tanker has an original red and fawn paint finish, tinplate tank, red Supertoy ridged wheels, large hook and original grey radial tyres, tinplate ladders. Intact ladders and tank. No dents to the tinplate tank.
Close inspection reveals a couple of little marks at a wheel arch and a few mere dots besides. Occasional little rub to the finish on the ladders. Hard to find this good.
Deep blue box has a bright and complete paper label. Couple of dots of ink staining on the blue card and a shopkeeper’s pencilled price at one lid end. Light end crumple. Minor wear besides.
