C227
Corgi 227 Morris Mini-Cooper Competition Model. Mint (one dot!)/boxed (wear, but complete). Slim racing numbers. From the 1200 model Italian collection.
Notes
A sought-after Corgi rally model in bright light blue finish with a white roof and bonnet, crossed flags on the bonnet.
Shaped spun wheels have suspension, racing number 3 on both doors (more unusual ‘slim’ racing numbers – most often bold i.e. thicker print), jewelled headlights. The detailed crossed flags on the bonnet are notably complete. One tiny dot on the roof front edge, if you really want to fault this Mini.
The box has not fared so well with a glue repair to one end flap and looking rather tired and worn besides.
In all original condition, this is a delightful Mini issued between 1962-65.
