FD36A
French Dinky 36A Willeme Log Carrier Truck. Very near mint/boxed. Early issue. Fine quality piece.
Notes
A very fine first issue example of this early French Dinky truck made between 1956-59. This version has the pierced detailing at the beam beneath the logs, and of course, it was later renumbered 897. Correct painted ridged hubs to the front cab wheels, rear four wheels are concave. This truck has barely been handled and has a lustrous paint finish, complete with five logs. Bright metal parts, including the stanchions. Spare wheel stored behind the cab.
Usual (unavoidable) marks where metal meets metal at the point where the trailer attaches to the cab. Looks like unsold shop stock.
The correct early box is very fresh too; so clean and bright with just tiny shelf rubbing to the box base underside.
Tip-top throughout!
