Notes

A scarce two-piece Gift Set first issued during 1966. It comprises:
1) Ford 5000 Super Major Tractor, in light blue and grey with intact and complete chrome chimney etc., grey metal steering wheel, very nearly complete transfers at the sides (couple of tiny top edge nicks). Complete with driver.

Closest scrutiny reveals a sweep of a paint at the front edge of the tractor below the lights as well as a few small touch-ins at the sides. Minor dulling to the chrome finish on one side of the smaller stack on the bonnet.
2) Beast Carrier is complete with delicate plastic netting (one tiny break) and four calves set into the original card ‘straw’ piece. Couple of the expected marks where the loading ramp attaches (metal against metal).

Pictorial card plinth looks very crisp, fresh and strongly-coloured, with none of the expected wear and tear at wheel slots. Both pull-out tabs are in place at both ends too. Lovely bright colours make this a very attractive backdrop for display.

The pictorial card box is a very nice example, bright and crisp with deep colours. Grubbiness and a small area of surface removal at one non-picture side and where a price label has been removed at an end flap. No graffiti.
