Notes
Issued between 1968-72, this is a scarce Gift Set and indeed the first we have handled in along time. In all original and unused condition with the merest mark or two from mint, this is a fine example. Lovely vibrant colours, the Massey Ferguson Tractor is complete with the original farmer figure, and delicate transfers on both sides of the tractor body (one dot).
Trailer is mint save for the usual little mark at the tow ring. The detachable metal raves have a couple of the inevitable marks where metal meets metal when attached to the trailer.
Lovely vibrant colours.
Colourfully illustrated card plinth has day-one vivid colours. Little ‘in the print’ speckling visible on the sky background. Minor tear at two wheel slots. Both end tabs are present and intact. Card is crisp.
Outer card box with colourful farming scene is extremely fine with strong colours on vibrant card.
Minor ‘speckling’ to the print in places. Crease at one non-picture side. Very minor wear at an end flap hinge.
A difficult set to find.
