D412
Dinky 412 Austin Wagon. Rarest powder blue issue with MID BLUE WHEELS. Very near mint/boxed. From a prime specialist Dinky collection in the North of England.
Notes
Another not-to-be-missed gem from this collection!
Issued between 1954-60 in four different colour finishes, this powder blue version is a rare find anyway, but with mid blue wheels an even more difficult find. A striking and eye-catching truck on display:
Just a few litle marks only that you have to look for (the cab is mint). Complete and intact original radiator and headlight assembly with original detailing, contrasting nicely with the powder blue finish. Bright baseplate, shiny axles including the ends and treaded tyres.
The correct pictorial box is exceptionally crisp and fresh with the correct colour spot at the end flaps. Small crush toward the underside of the box at one side.
The first we have ever handled. A rare Dinky Truck to come to the market place.
