Just when you think you have seen all the colour variations and rarities, a Dinky commercial truck turns up that quite takes your breath away!
This is a stunning example of the Dodge Rear Tipping Wagon in very near mint-mint condition, finished in light blue & grey with a tipping back – but with SILVER GROOVED CAST WHEELS. The wheels are the same as seen on the rare variation of the Dinky 182 Porsche model (in bright red, in our archive).
Exceptional, old shop stock quality, this Dodge Tipping Wagon has an outstanding lustre to the paint finish and a shiny baseplate.
Note that there is a factory paint miss beneath the tailgate.
The later (so lighter) yellow picture box is crisp and clean with exceedingly vivid colours. Correct Dinky blue spot at the end flaps. Small seam tear and a scuff. Shopkeeper’s pencilled price (export) at an end flap.
A wonderful investment piece and a joy to own.
