D161
Dinky 161 Austin Somerset Saloon. Scarce red and yellow version. Very near mint/boxed. From the 1200 model Italian collection. Lovely example in an outstanding fresh box!
Notes
Now here’s a rare and sought-after variation! This two-tone red and yellow classic Dinky car was issued between 1956-59. What a find!
A desirable car in very close to mint condition. Hard to find a mark and the colours are day-one vibrant. Not even a trace of a rub mark on the roof. It is only upon the most minute scrutiny that you will find a couple of tiny dots of red paint on the indicator lights.
The box is in superb condition with such a crisp feel to the strongly-coloured card. Correct colour spot too.
Notoriously difficult to get in this condition!
