D413
Dinky 30S/413 Austin Covered Wagon. Two-tone blue issue. Very near mint/boxed. From The Heart of England collection.
Notes
Issued between 1954-60 under this numbering, this charming Dinky commercial truck was issued in various colour finishes, this surely being one of the most eye-catching in two-tone blue and in this very close to mint condition, difficult to resist! Original tinplate tilt has retained its shape well (often found scratched and even dented) and the original wheels run smoothly generally (one little flat spot on one). Headlight and radiator assembly is fine too finished in black with fine silver detailing (original). Bright fresh-looking baseplate and metal parts generally.
Tempted to call this one mint, it is only upon minute scrutiny, that a couple of negligible marks may be found, as well as a very small mark on the front bumper.
The box is vividly-coloured with the correct colour spot at the end flaps. Small handling tear at an end flap and a little minor wear besides.
