Rare to come to the market place, this is a very scarce promotional item from Dinky and in this close to perfect condition, a must for your collection!
In complete and original condition with the four paper drums and perfect ‘Thames Board’ labels and number plates.
A few little marks to some exposed edges of the white paint finish of the flatbed rear edges. Small casting blemish on the cab roof (being extra-fussy here).
Correctly presented in a fresh and bright bubble-style box. The bubble lid has only the most minor ‘yellowing’ and feels supple and pliant (not brittle). Couple of tiny hairline cracks caused by the usual movement of the model inside the box. Tiniest section at a bottom corner edge missing (approx. 5mm x 2mm).
Card plinth is very clean, crisp and bright with no tears. Original sellotape where the lid was secured to the base.
An item missing from most Dinky commercial collections, this is a fine investment piece. One of only a few which have survived in this condition.
