Issued between 1966-69, this Oldsmobile car has a gleaming, deep purple-blue finish, bright and complete bonnet logo, bright chrome parts, detailed cast wheels. Functions perfectly – if you press the roof periscope the figures move from side to side to shoot the enemy! A few insignificant dots to the paint finish if you look for them. This is the more difficult to find version with plastic chromed spotlights (to dazzle the enemy!). A very attractive item on display:

So often lost or replaced with a copy, this Thrushbuster comes with its original Waverley ring. Changing image on the ring face of Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin.
Small rub to the ring sides caused by box contact.
The colourful card plinth is fresh and bright, with no wear at wheel slots. One corner edge has tiny wear.
Lovely vibrant graphics!

Lots of info about the U.N.C.L.E organisation on box reverse as well as pictures and signatures of the T.V. series protagonists.
The outer box is clean, crisp and bright, with minor age/handling wear only and a little penned writing on one box face and end flaps. All end flaps are present and tear free.
