C268
Corgi 268 The Green Hornet's 'Black Beauty'. Very near mint/boxed. With packing card, a complete Instruction Packet and a pristine card stand! From the 1200 model Italian collection.
Notes
An exciting iconic T.V inspired Corgi model – typically harder to find than the James Bond models available during this period. Issued between 1968-72. This is a beautiful example in close to mint, all original condition. The all-important detailed roof transfer is complete and perfect and the car’s gadgets function well. Notably, the radiator closes securely. Shaped spun wheels version.
Close inspection reveals a couple of little chips at an exposed edge. No suspension on the rear wheels.
It comes complete with the Secret Instruction packet which has been carefully opened. Inside, are the Instructions:
and a full complement of four radar scanners and four missiles. Alsoincluded is the often missing card packing piece too:
The pristine inner card stand has lots of atmospheric graphics. It is in shop-fresh condition; absolutely crisp, bright and clean with no wear at all – not even at the wheel slots! Outstanding.
The outer box is crisp, vividly-coloured and looks fresh.
Minor grubby black stain at a non-picture side. No edge rubbing. No tears. No loss of colour vibrancy. Only the most minor handling ruffle etc.
